The mission of BNI is to help members increase their business through a structured, positive, and professional "word-of-mouth" program that enables them to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals.
The philosophy of this organization is built upon the idea of "Givers Gain®": By giving business to others, you will get business in return. This is predicated on the age-old idea of "What goes around, comes around."
BNI was founded 26 years ago by Dr. Ivan Misner and the Seekers Chapter was founded 6 years ago. Since then, the Seekers have referred over $700,000 in business to its members. We believe in Givers Gain, which is a simple philosophy. We believe we can grow our businesses through word of mouth networking as well as honesty, integrity and fairness. We are based in Shelby Township and have members throughout the Metro Detroit Area.

BNI Seekers
meets weekly at Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township. This chapter of BNI was officially founded in 2006 by people who believed in the Givers Gain philosophy. We still have founding members involved with the group. So far in 2011 the Seekers have generated over 140,000$ in revenue. We support each other and help all of us grow our businesses.
